Cde George Nyathi

Cde George Nyathi holds a primary school teachers certificate attained in 1976 (UCE), in 1982 an Advanced Diploma in Banking with the Institute of Finance Management in Tanzania (IFM), a Bachelor Of Administration Degree with UNISA in 1990, a Diploma in Bank Credit Management and a Diploma in Advanced Banking Credit Management

He worked for the Ministry of Education as a school teacher from 1977-1978 and in 1982 he then joined the Zimbabwe Banking Corporation Limited as a banker where he is currently the bank manager for the Masvingo Branch.

Cde Nyathi is the ZANU-PF Central Committee Member since 1995, is a Politburo member since 2005 and is also a ZIPRA Ex-Combatant

Cde Nyathi is also the advisor to Binga Rural District Council, a member of the Binga district Hospital Advisory Board, founder member of Binga District Development Association (BIDA) and a member of the Matebeland Zambezi Water Project.
