Professor
Lindela Ndlovu
Professor Lindela Rowland Ndlovu holds a PhD
degree in Animal Nutrition from the University of Guelph, Canada,
an MSc degree in Agricultural Biochemistry from the University of
Wales, UK; and a BSc degree from the University of Sierra Leone.
He has worked in the area of higher education for 17 years, rising
from Lecturer grade through to full Professor, Dean, Pro-Vice Chancellor
and now he the is Vice Chancellor of the National University of
Science and Technology.
His research has involved developing strategies
that are economic and sustainable for rural and farming households
with a limited resource base, especially in the area of animal feed
resources evaluation and feeding systems. In recognition of his
research, Prof Ndlovu has been awarded the International Foundation
for Science/DANIDA award for Excellency in smallholder livestock
research (1998) and The University of The North Distinguished Science
Researcher (2000). |
