Dr Robson Mafoti is a well-known scientist holding several USA and foreign patents. Dr Mafoti has several years of experience in research and development, acquisitions and operations support with excellent interpersonal skills. He is a take-charge leader who brings pragmatic insights and solutions to meet product development objectives. He has worked for various US firms such as Bayer Corporation, Wilson Art International and Schnee-Moreheed Incorporated. He became the Chief Executive Officer of SIRDC in July 2003. He holds the following qualifications: PhD and MSc degrees in Organic Chemistry (Rice University, Houston, Texas, USA), MSc degree in Analytical Chemistry (Texas Southern University, USA); BSc degree in Chemistry and Biology (National University of Lesotho). He has attended several executive management development programmes and is a distinguished business leader. He is a member of the following professional societies: American Chemical Society, PhiLambda Upsilon Chemical Honour Society and Polymeric Materials, Science and Engineering Society. He has scooped several awards in his illustrious career. |
