Mr Noah Nyemba has over twenty years experience in manufacturing operations management and research and development.
He started his career as a trainee metallurgical process engineer for a non-ferrous metals metallurgical operation that specialized in aluminum and copper melting and semi fabrication.
He rose through the ranks to become aluminum cast house manager.
In 2002, Mr Nyemba joined General Beltings Ltd as production manager for the conveyor belt manufacturing plant where he was responsible for all operational activities.
Mr Nyemba played a critical role in the development and implementation of an Environmental Management System that was compliant to the ISO 14000 standard as well as maintaining the ISO 9000 complaint Quality Management System that was in place prior to his assumption of duty.
In 2006, Mr Nyemba joined Sirtech Investments, a subsidiary of SIRDC then, as Plant Manager in the Foundry Division. He successfully managed to lead a team of engineers and technicians to set up a ferrous foundry with a one tonne per hour melting capacity.
The foundry currently provides the mining, agricultural and transport industries with various grades of steel and cast iron components. Mr Nyemba holds a BSc Engineering Honours degree in Metallurgy and a Masters Degree in Manufacturing Systems and Operations Management.
