Mr Mufudzi Shadreck Chigowe has over 35 years of working experience in the vehicle administration, and Transport and Logistics set up. He started his career as a Clerk in the then Ministry of Roads in 1982 and was based at the Central Vehicle Registry (CVR). He rose up the ladder to Acting Deputy Registrar when he then resigned in January 2004. At CVR, he was instrumental in the computerisation of the vehicle registration and licensing systems.
Mr Chigowe left CVR in 2004 and briefly joined Loben Transport Services (a transport and logistics private company) as a Transport Administrator. He later worked for World Radio Systems as a Transport Manager before joining SIRDC as a Transport Manager in February 2007, a post he holds to date.
In addition to work related courses, Mr Chigowe is a holder of a Diploma in Management obtained through the Management Training Bureau and a B Ed degree in Educational Administration, Planning and Policy Studies from the Zimbabwe Open University.
